Important information BEFORE you book a slot

1. Why do I have to book a timeslot?

We're asking for bookings to ensure we're not overwhelmed by kind folk looking to donate at the same time. This should be the quickest way for us to process as many laptops as possible.

2. Can I donate more than one laptop?

Yes, of course. However, if you do wish to donate more than one laptop, please book concurrent time slots to drop them off.

For example, if you are looking to donate three laptops, please book three slots, one after the other.

3. Which laptops can we accept?

We're only looking for laptops that use the 'Windows' Operating System, by Microsoft. We can't refurbish any 'Apple' laptops unfortunately.

4. Does the laptop need to be working?

Yes, ideally. If they're working it will be easier for us to wipe the laptop while you're with us, but we can still accept laptops that aren't working.

We're not looking for physically damaged laptops however, ideally devices that are in reasonable condition.

5. Does my laptop need to have a compatible charging cable?

Yes, we're afraid we can only accept donated laptops which include the original charging cable.

6. What will happen if the laptop cannot be refurbished?

If for any reason we can't refurb a donated laptop, we'll ethically recycle it using a WEEE accredited waste disposal provider.
